I am posting some photos of people that were in my great grandmother Ora C. Murrell Miller's photo album. Some of these photos did not have names associated with them . The time period is mid to late 1800's in Coryell County, Texas.

 

This is A.J. Holmes who was married to Josie E. Murrell who was my great grandmother Ora's sister. Unfortunately Josie (Feb. 14, 1861-Feb. 13, 1889) and her son Norris (Oct. 21, 1886-Nov. 28, 1889) did not live for very long. Josie and Norris are buried at the Ater Cemetery in Coryell County, Texas.

The name on this photograph was Mat or Mother Burkett. Tintype.

 This Robert Jackson Murrell who was my great grandmother Ora's brother.
